REQUIREMENTS:

• A Degree in Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in quality control, planning, or engineering within construction or renovation
• Solid knowledge of UK building codes, regulations, and health & safety standards
• Experience with ISO quality systems and site documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
• Driving licence preferred

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control and Planning Engineer to oversee the quality assurance and planning aspects of our renovation projects. The role involves monitoring construction quality, maintaining planning and compliance documentation, and ensuring all works meet safety, technical, and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and enforce quality standards across construction and engineering activities
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and accuracy of workmanship
• Develop and maintain planning documents, method statements, and risk assessments
• Liaise with contractors, architects, site supervisors, and project managers to ensure cohesive project execution
• Implement and maintain ISO procedures and project-specific quality systems both on-site and in the office
