Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues, and communicate with management, local contacts, and/or first responders when needed. Assist with closing procedures, crowd flow observation, and general presence during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or after-hours activity. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
