This position works directly with the leadership, verifying decisions and strategic planning are based on solid data and trends. Key Responsibilities: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities, and provide clear, actionable insights to management. Support the development and maintenance of budgets across multiple cost centers and business units. Prepare and update budget vs. actual reports; assist in reviewing results with department managers to explain variances and track follow-ups. Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking using Excel. Assist with data gathering and analysis for potential acquisitions, including basic valuation support and risk review. Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and recurring reports using Excel and Power BI to support decision-making. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports; help improve reporting processes and workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business needs. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial results. Communicate findings clearly through reports and presentations. Utilize financial systems and tools effectively (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
