Gas Operations is responsible for all aspects of PG&E's gas distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, restoration and emergency response.   Position Summary Conducts research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations. Participates in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives. Develops, manages and coordinates performance and quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training.   This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.   PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.    A reasonable salary range is: Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area)             $ 82,000.00 Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area)            $ 124,000.00 OR Minimum Base Salary (California)            $ 78,000.00 Maximum Base Salary (California)           $ 118,000.00     Job Responsibilities Performs analysis on moderately complex data models selecting from various reports and data options. Determines data needs, collects data, selects from different analytical techniques to achieve desired data outcomes. Understands business needs, develops new reports and performs custom/ad-hoc reporting working independently. Presents findings to various audiences. Performs basic research internally and externally. Communicates with peers inside and outside the department exchanging ideas or gathering information. Participates on project teams.   Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required. 2 years of related work experience Desired: Knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches and tactics Full understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling and how different factors affect business outcomes Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills Organizational, prioritization and multi- tasking skills.
