Essential Functions: Owns the business development and capture for USN/USMC tactical communications lifecycle. Builds a robust, multi-year pipeline. Qualifies and shapes opportunities within the USN through direct customer engagement at all echelons. Works closely with US Government customers Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to develop teaming agreements and integration of L3Harris Communications systems onto their offerings. Develops and maintains deep intimacy with DoD, with specific focus on major USN program management offices and science and technology communities to include the Rapid Capabilities Office, Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA).  Providing thought leadership on ways the USN should build out the space based communication networks to achieve future JADC2 architectures, with specific emphasis on long range kill chains. Leveraging L3Harris rich capabilities to deliver integrated, high speed, open-architecture resilient communications and networking solutions to achieve full spectrum dominance, specifically focusing on USN related solutions.  Frequent coordination with your L3Harris counterparts who lead accounts with customers acros NAVAIR, NAVWAR and NAVSEA to ensure fluid customer engagement and that our value to the warfighter across domains and solutions drives interoperability, commonality, affordability to enable the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) environment. Engages effectively across all levels and ranks of our government and industry partner organizations. Coordinates with P&L lead to align strategic direction and customer needs; works closely with business execution team to ensure a clear, coordinated customer messaging. Scales from tactical to strategic, and back, to deliver near term results while also keeping an overall focus on long term solutions and positioning. Builds coalitions of supporters, coaches, and champions to advance captures and drive opportunity closure and speed to market. Entrepreneurial mindset – obsesses over warfighters hardest problems and rallies a team to translate them into impactful solutions leading to business growth. Constantly looking to improve existing processes or establish new systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $146,000 -$271,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $126,500 - $235,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
