Employed by Wellways, this role works alongside multidisciplinary teams to instil hope through purposeful self-disclosure and positive role modelling, supporting individuals to recognise their strengths and possibilities for recovery. The Peer Service Navigator provides intentional peer support through one-to-one service navigation, care planning, and group-based peer programs such as Discovery and Thinking About Work. The role also focuses on capacity building and supporting people to engage with treatment and community supports, helping them overcome day-to-day barriers and encouraging confidence to try new approaches toward their goals.
