Job Description SGS are seeking a proactive and experienced Leading Hand in Sample Preparation to join our Perth Laboratory team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of work within the sample preparation area, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and supporting the team to achieve operational targets. Key Responsibilities include, however, are not limited to: Oversee the workflow from sample reception through to pulp transfer into the next laboratory section. Maintain clear and effective communication between Customer Service and all Perth Laboratory departments. Coordinate daily work schedules, ensuring full use of staff and equipment. Monitor and maintain productivity programs and KPI dashboards. Work closely with maintenance teams to minimise downtime, following company tag-out procedures. Take responsibility for the site’s safety performance, including injuries, illnesses, near misses, and incidents.
