Senior Solution Consultant – Financial Consolidation & Reporting (FCR) Location: EMEA (Remote/Hybrid, near major European airport hubs) Department: Solution Consulting (Presales) Role Summary You will be Anaplan’s presales expert for financial close and financial consolidation & reporting (FCR)—designing and delivering solutions that shorten close cycles, improve auditability, and help organizations shift from retrospective reporting to predictive insights. This role blends advisory engagement with hands-on demonstration, helping clients define transformation goals and understand how Anaplan unifies consolidation, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning. Your impact Presales & Solution Design Act as the SME for consolidation processes including intercompany eliminations, multi-currency, compliance, and close automation. Partner with sales to qualify opportunities and position Anaplan for consolidation and connected planning. Build and deliver tailored demos that highlight value such as shorter close cycles and stronger auditability. Lead discovery sessions to understand client processes and translate them into effective solution designs. Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership Advise on best practices across key industries, staying up to date on IFRS, US GAAP, ESG/CSRD, and emerging technologies. Contribute to presales assets such as demo models, accelerators, and case studies. Executive Engagement & Collaboration Engage senior finance leaders to influence strategy and communicate ROI. Your Qualifications 5+ years in financial consolidation, close, or external reporting. Strong knowledge of close processes—eliminations, multi-currency, compliance, reconciliations, and close optimization. Experience with Anaplan or similar platforms (OneStream, Tagetik, Oracle FCCS, SAP BPC, HFM). Solid understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and evolving reporting standards. Ability to translate complex finance requirements into clear solution architectures. Excellent executive-level presentation and storytelling skills. Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred. Preferred Presales or consulting experience in enterprise software. Experience leading finance transformation or record-to-report modernization. Familiarity with EPM/Connected Planning ecosystems, integration, and reporting tools.
