Description
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting warehouse staff through the full employee life cycle.  This role also supports numerous departments with recruitment needs and advises warehouse leadership on HR policies, employee relations, and compliance with employment legislation.  Responsibilities: * Support the onboarding process and address employee inquiries for warehouse staff. * Oversee recruitment efforts for various departments and positions within the organization. * Coordinate with external agencies to meet staffing needs in the warehouse. * Administer leave processes, including medical leaves and CNESST claims. * Provide guidance to warehouse supervisors on HR policies, employment legislation, and employee relations matters. * Manage employee relations issues, including absenteeism, disciplinary actions, and terminations. * Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records in the HRIS system. * Support and promote the development of company culture through employee engagement programs. * Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs that align with business objectives. Qualifications: * Post- secondary degree/diploma in Human Resource Management, or related field  * 2-3 years of HR experience. * Knowledge of HRIS Systems (an asset) * Ability to manage time and organize daily tasks effectively. * Ability to stay positive when facing challenges or changes. * Ability to use basic Microsoft Office Suite functions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). * Bilingual (French and English*), spoken and written. (*) This qualification is required as you will be interacting with partners, vendors, internal/external clients and/or staff across Canada on a regular basis.   We are an equal opportunity employer.
