JOB OVERVIEW
Aboriginal Infant Development Resource Worker will provide holistic support in home and the community to caregivers and families with Indigenous children aged 0-4 years old. Utilizing a culturally informed, strength-based approach, the AIDP Resource Worker will work closely with families to assess, plan, and implement support strategies that focus on their child’s developmental needs. AIDP Resource Worker will focus on relationship-building, early intervention, and the blending of both traditional and contemporary approaches to parenting and child development.
Working as part of a team, the AIDP Resource Worker will promote and support traditional cultural teachings and practices for families and the community. They will work to connect families to other LFVAS programming and community supports as needed.

Must successfully complete Criminal Record Review for work with children and vulnerable adults
Must have reliable vehicle and a valid BC driver’s licence and provide a driver’s abstract
