ABOUT THE ROLE
The Huntington seeks a strategic and collaborative Collections Data and Digital Assets Manager in the Digital and Technology division. The successful candidate will have proven data administration and project management experience in a dynamic and diverse research and cultural heritage organization. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Systems, the Collections Data and Digital Assets Manager provides management of and support for The Huntington’s digital asset management system RAIL with over 1.2M assets and 250+ internal users. The manager-level position oversees the comprehensive governance of the three-year-old DAM initiative and ensures the organization’s deliberate growth and efficiency in managing institutional digital assets including webhooks and integrations with collections databases.
Major responsibilities include managing integrations, system upgrades, new feature requests, user management, documentation, and training. The CDDA Manager facilitates user groups including biweekly administrator meetings, quarterly governance meetings, and ad hoc updates and meetings to different staff and user groups.
The role requires highly organized and synergistic individual with excellent communication skills and a deep knowledge of and vision for digital asset management across diverse teams and use cases. S/he/they will demonstrate a background of working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds using a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible approach for highly technical and non-technical users.
